FAQs

What is included in the Adison Essential Bag?

The Adison Essential Bag includes the main accessible shoulder bag and the adaptive straps. It does not include the long crossbody strap, detachable pouch, or personal alarm included in the Complete Set.

What’s the difference between the Essential Bag and the Complete Set?

The Essential Bag offers the core Adison bag with adaptive straps for seated or attached use. The Complete Set includes additional accessories and wear options, including the long crossbody strap, detachable pouch, and personal alarm.

Is the Essential Bag suitable for wheelchair users or seated use?

Yes. The Adison Essential accessible shoulder bag is designed to work for both standing and seated users. The included adaptive straps allow the bag to be worn or secured in a way that feels comfortable and practical for your routine.

What are the attachment points for wheelchair users?

The bag includes discreet attachment points that allow it to be positioned in different ways when seated. Using the included adaptive straps, the bag can be attached:

  • On the back of a wheelchair
  • On the bottom of a wheelchair
  • On the side of a wheelchair

The bag can also be used without attaching it using the straps. It can be attached to your wheelchair simply using the main shoulder bag strap or may be rested on the lap while seated.

What are the adaptive straps made from, and do I have to use them?

The adaptive straps are made from red velcro fastening. They are fully detachable and can be removed when not required, allowing the bag to be worn or carried as a standard shoulder bag.

Does the bag look like a traditional handbag?

Yes. Adison is designed as a classic shoulder bag, with accessibility features seamlessly built into the design.

What material is the bag made from?

The bag is made from high-quality PU vegan leather, chosen for its durability, structured feel, and easy-care surface suitable for everyday use.
