The Adison Accessible Shoulder Bag is a thoughtfully designed accessible shoulder bag with accessibility seamlessly built into the design. Combining timeless design with everyday practicality, Adison is designed to work for all women, whether standing, seated, or on the move.

Crafted in burgundy PU leather with subtle silver accents, this accessible shoulder bag is inspired by the designer’s lived experience with rheumatoid arthritis and shaped by real conversations with women with a wide range of needs and lived experiences. Every detail is intentional and designed to work with you.

• Convertible wear — detachable top handle and adjustable crossbody strap for versatile styling

• Ease of use — larger circle zips and magnetic snap closures designed for one-handed use and reduced strain. 

• Adaptive straps — discreet detachable back straps to secure the bag to wheelchairs, mobility aids, strollers, car seats, and more.

• Personal alarm keychain — includes a red heart alarm intended to attract attention in certain situations and provide added peace of mind. 

• Period product pouch — detachable pouch designed for period products or small essentials. magnetic snap added to clip it securely inside the bag or wear it externally for easy access.

The Complete Set includes additional accessories and wear options, including the long crossbody strap, detachable pouch, and personal alarm. The Essential Bag includes the core bag and adaptive straps only.

Yes. The Adison accessible shoulder bag is designed to work for both standing and seated users. The included adaptive straps allow the bag to be worn or secured in a way that feels comfortable and practical for your routine.

What are the attachment points for wheelchair users?

Adison includes attachment points designed to give flexibility in how the bag is positioned when seated. Using the included adaptive straps, the bag can be attached in several ways depending on your preference and specific wheelchair design, including:

• On the back of a wheelchair

• On the bottom of a wheelchair

• On the side of a wheelchair

The bag can also be used without attaching it, and may be:

• Worn crossbody and sat on your lap (Complete Set only)

What are the adaptive straps made from, and do I have to use them?

The adaptive straps are made from PU leather with discreet Velcro fastening. They are fully detachable and can be removed when not required, allowing the bag to be worn or carried as a standard shoulder bag.

What material is the bag made from?

The bag is made from high-quality PU vegan leather chosen for its durability, structured feel, and easy-care surface suitable for everyday use. 

When will the Adison Complete Set be available to buy not pre-order?

The Adison Complete Set will be available to purchase as a standard “buy now” item from mid-January 2025, once pre-orders have shipped.

Delivery & Customs Notice
